Upcoming Meetings
A Timely Time-Traveling Double Feature
Thursday, October 6, 2011
10am-noon
In this first meeting of METRO's Reference Special Interest Group (formerly the Virtual Reference SIG), we will be kicking things off with a double feature of reference-y goodness.
First up is "Back to the Future: Reference in a Post-Virtual World." How have you (and your library) incorporated VR into your reference philosophies? Does "virtual reference" mean anything anymore, how has that changed, and what will replace "virtual" as the adjective of the future?
Next is "Modern Times: Updating Reference Interviews to Include Open Access," wherein we share best practices for integrating OA information into our reference work.
